Account Information
When you create an account, we collect your email address and authentication credentials through our authentication provider (Clerk).
Business Data from Aesthetic Record
With your authorization, our Chrome extension syncs the following data from your Aesthetic Record account:
- Invoice totals and revenue figures
- Appointment counts and scheduling data
- Service and product sales summaries
- Practitioner performance metrics
- Location information
Information We Do NOT Collect
- Credit card numbers or payment credentials
- Bank account information
- Patient/client personal health information (PHI)
- Social Security numbers or government IDs
- Your Aesthetic Record login password (only session cookies are used locally)
How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information solely to:
- Display business analytics and insights on your dashboard
- Generate reports and performance summaries
- Maintain your session and sync preferences
- Provide customer support when requested
Chrome Extension
The AestheticIQ Sync Chrome extension:
- Only activates on Aesthetic Record and AestheticIQ websites
- Stores preferences (sync schedule, settings) locally in your browser
- Uses session cookies locally to maintain your AR login—we never see or store your password
- Syncs business data only to your own authenticated AestheticIQ account
- Does not track browsing activity on other websites
- Does not contain any remote code—all functionality is bundled with the extension
Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored securely in our database hosted on Render.com with encryption at rest. We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption for all data transmission, secure authentication via Clerk, and regular security updates.
Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal or business information to third parties. We may share data only in the following circumstances:
- With service providers who assist in operating our Service (hosting, authentication)
- If required by law or to protect our legal rights
- With your explicit consent
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the data we hold about your account
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your account and associated data
- Disconnect the Chrome extension at any time
- Export your data in a portable format
